About kathrynMaking people's brains light up, turns me on. I love sharing new ideas and insights with people! I don't think of it as selling, but as exploring new options. There is so much new information, there are so many new ways of thinking about things, and so many insights that can make a difference, that I LOVE engaging people in seeing how they can benefit from all this newness.
I'm a teacher and speaker by disposition, so sharing comes natural. When my clients make new connections and see how they can expand their capacity, create new products or open new markets, or even rethink their business, I get excited along with them! |
Who I am |
As a serial entrepreneur and mystic she has been interested in applied consciousness for many years. Now on her 9th or 10th business she has personal experience understanding the needs of the small business owner.
Familiar with working on a shoestring, she's learned technology by being hands-on. She offers years of experience designing websites and actually doing digital marketing and learning social media techniques. |

Sustainability |
We want to save the world. When we talk sustainability so much of our focus is on energy use, not so much on waste reduction. We talk about what ‘the company’ does forgetting that a ‘company’ is composed of people – people who need to change their habits, attitudes and personalrelationship with the Earth. When you are your company sustainability is personal.
The seduction of having an internet company is that it feels like “I’m, cool because I don’t use many resources (digital after all).” And ‘There’s nothing I can do since I don’t control my energy sources.” At QVP we know better. I take my garbage out once a month, that includes both trash and recycled stuff. I do my own cooking and buy little that’s packaged. This is harder in business as reduced packaging has not reached most businesses. I’m involved with Avista’s buck for a Block program. This is the only way I can impact my energy use. It applies to both my business and personal energy use. I don’t use pesticides on my lawn or yard. I mulch my cut grass and compost. Most importantly my writing and business coaching are focused on getting my customers and clients to better understand the deeper and more impactful aspects of sustainability. The three stages: reduced resource use; zero waste; and regenerative practices; offer a framework that is helpful and accessible. She has a passion for change and her deep interest in systems thinking and nature made it a natural for her to become a leader in sustainability. |
